Turriff United Youth FC are delighted to announce that we are now a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO)
We recently received the news from The Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) that our charity application has been successful in meeting the charity test. This is fantastic news to start the new year with and a big step forward which will open the doors to many new funding sources and opportunities for our club.
A word from Lesley Chapman, Chairperson and Trustee
“We are so excited to share this great news with all our players’ and their families, coaches ,committee and the wider Turriff community. As a club we want to be able to offer our young people of Turriff the chance to be part of a club that they are proud to play for and be part of. Becoming a charity will enable us to ensure we can not only sustain what we currently offer but to look for opportunities to grow our club in the future. A huge amount of work has gone into achieving this so a big thanks also must go to our office bearers Audrey ,Julie, And James. Well done.
Exciting times ahead for us all.”
It’s been a lengthy process and we’d like to thank Andrew @ Club Development Consultancy for his invaluable support and guidance through the whole process.
